About Us

Blue Collar 40 formed in September 2013. Over the years we have stayed true to our roots, and always remember our journey.

BC40 is comprised of Bjorn Berg on lead vocals / guitar, Cory Freehill on backup vocals / lead guitar, Tom Anderson on bass guitar, and Jordan Shackleton on Drums.

BC40 covers a mix of Classic and Modern Country Music from artists such as Johnny Cash, Dwight Yokum, Merle Haggard, Riley Green, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Zach Top and Randy Houser. BC40 plays some Rock music from artists such as Neil Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimmy Eat World, Matchbox 20, Whitesnake and Van Halen. Blue Collar 40 also writes and plays select original music.

BC40 has opened for some well-known National Artists such as Deana Carter,  David Lee Murphy, David Nail, Lee Brice, Randy Houser, Dustin Lynch, The Kentucky Headhunters, Blackhawk, Sawyer Brown, Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, Travis Tritt, Jackyl, Little Texas, Jo Dee Messina, Easton Corbin, Carly Pearce, Neal McCoy, and many others.

BC40 would like to recognize our former members Brady Brueggen (Drums), Steven Lowe (Vocals & Lead Guitar), Bradley Peters (Bass Guitar), Bret Halvorson (Drums), and Jason Foht (Bass Guitar) for their dedication to our Band. We would not be here without you.
